5. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS AND PROCEDURES TO EXERCISE THEM
5.1. Right to information

Practia’s Cookie Policy
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
A cookie is a small data file a website asks your browser to store on your computer or mobile device. It allows the website to “remember” user actions or preferences over time.
Most internet browsers accept cookies, but users can configure them to reject certain types of cookies or specific ones. Users can also delete cookies at any time.
2. WHY DOES PRACTIA USE COOKIES?
We use cookies to understand how users interact with our content and improve their experience when visiting our websites. For example, some cookies remember user language or preferences so these don’t need to be selected every time the site is visited.
We may also use data gathered from user behavior to present personalized advertising on third-party websites, aimed at offering our products and services again.
3. TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON PRACTIA’S WEBSITE
By managing entity: First-party and third-party cookies
We use both first-party and third-party cookies on our website.
-
First-party cookies are sent from the practia.global domain and are typically used to remember language and location preferences or to enable basic site features.
-
Third-party cookies belong to and are managed by other companies (e.g., service providers or business partners). These may be necessary for forms (e.g., job applications or contact requests) or external advertising.
By duration: Session and persistent cookies
-
Session cookies are temporary and disappear when the browser is closed.
-
Persistent cookies remain after the browser is closed and are used to remember preferences and analyze usage to improve site functionality and personalize advertising.
By purpose: Technical, analytics, experience, and marketing cookies
-
Technical cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They respond to actions such as setting privacy preferences, logging in, or filling out forms.
-
Analytics cookies help measure and improve performance by tracking site usage anonymously.
-
Experience cookies enhance functionality and customization. Disabling them may affect site performance.
-
Marketing cookies are set by advertising partners to build a profile of your interests. They do not store personal data but identify your browser and device. Disabling them results in less targeted advertising.
4. HOW DOES PRACTIA USE COOKIES FOR ADVERTISING?
Cookies and other technologies like web beacons, pixels, and tags help us deliver more relevant ads. They also help gather aggregate audit data, research, and performance reports for advertisers.
Through pixels, we can determine ad performance and visibility. Since the user’s browser may request ads and beacons directly from ad network servers, those networks can view, modify, or set their own cookies, just as if the user had visited their site.
While we don’t create behavioral profiles across third-party sites, we do use aggregate data to offer personalized ads based on interests. We do not share collected personal data with advertisers.
You can opt out of third-party or interest-based advertising via cookie settings. If disabled, ads may still appear, but will not be personalized.
5. HOW DOES PRACTIA USE THIRD-PARTY COOKIES?
Some features of our websites rely on third-party services. For example, embedded YouTube videos or links may include third-party cookies. We encourage users to review those providers’ privacy policies on their websites to understand how they use cookies.
6. HOW TO REJECT AND DELETE COOKIES
Users may choose to reject or block all or specific groups of cookies when visiting Practia’s websites, by adjusting cookie preferences on the site.
You can also modify browser settings to reject or delete cookies. Note that most browsers accept cookies by default. If you reject cookies, you can still use our site, but some features may not work correctly.
By continuing to use the website without rejecting cookies, you agree to our use of the remaining cookies on your device.
